The final definitions of Fundraisers and Overlapping Events (as of Dec. 2017)

Fundraisers are events to raise money, or the selling of items/collecting of items.

Overlapping Events are any events/fundraisers that are scheduled at the same time which take focus away from each other, while using the church building either inside or outside. Events which are considered overlapping should be held 2 weeks apart with the first event submitted on the website and approved taking precedence. There should be no piggyback from another group/organization in order to draw more attention to it for whatever the purpose, unless there is a mutual agreement, or an immediate emergency need. This pertains to organizations outside our congregation as well.
