Bible Reading Plan
A Better HomeBible Reading Plans at Thalia UMC are designed to help everyday people get into the Bible. We carefully select readings that won’t take too long or bore the reader to death.
“A Better Home” reading plan is based on the events of the early church following the resurrection of Jesus Christ. We will take a closer look at what happened after the first Easter Sunday and how the community of faith established itself as an extended spiritual family.
Each week starts with a few verses from Revelation that coincide with our worship series. The rest of the week includes readings from Acts that follow the movement of the Holy Spirit through the apostles. Our prayer is that reading these passages together will help us reimagine how God is building a better home through the church today.
